There was this man, called Mike, he got a $30 bonus after paving a pavement.

He was walking home when he past by a burning flat and there was another guy, he was shouting ''Fire! Fire!'' Mike paid $10 to the guy to teach him how to say ''Fire! Fire!'' So now Mike knows how to say ''Fire! Fire!''

After that, he past by the Zoo. The monkeys has escaped from the cage and now is running all over the Zoo. The zookeeper shouted '' Hey monkey! Stop running!'' Mike paid $10 to the zookeeper to teach him how to say ''Hey monkey! Stop running!'' Now, Mike knows how to say "Fire! Fire!" and " Hey monkey! Stop running!"

When Mike reached his estate, he saw a grandson beating the grandfather and the grandfather said " You beat grandpa, grandpa don't give you sweet.''Mike then paid the grandfather the last $10 and asked the grandfather to teach him how to say ''You beat grandpa, grandpa don't give you sweet." So, now Mike knows how to say '' Fire! Fire!", " Hey monkey! Stop running!'' and "You beat grandpa, grandpa don't give you sweet.''

When Mike opened the door to his home, his wife was about to hugged him when he suddenly said '' Fire! Fire!'' The wife got shocked and ran around the house, then he shouted to the wife " Hey monkey! Stop running!" The wife got mad and marched to him and hit him on his head. He said " You beat grandpa, grandpa don't give you sweet."

I was reading Little Red Dot, when I came across an article on - Seeing the world differently. I think you people should read it up. The date of the issue is 28/7/09 (Tuesday)

Today was my napfa test and it went greatly!!!=P I got 175cm for my standing broad jump(A), 10.9sec for my shuttle run(A), 44cm for my sit and reach(A), did 19 for my pull up(A) and did 36 sit ups(A) but still have not done 1.6!!!! Ahhhh! Exams are coming, time really flies...

I am very happy as this week, I just found out that Zhi Min and I were in the Top 30 for the Nature Explorer's Programme! The prize is a 4 days 3 nights stay at Tioman, an island at Malaysia, but since Zhi Min is not going, I am not going too. I was actually very excited to go but nobody would be going with me so I decided not to go!

I would like to thank Miss Lam for this class blog and the administrators (Sheryl and Kymberly) for organising it until it is wonderful. :)

Hey everyone!!!!!

It's Sarah here. Hope all of you are enjoying your weekend. I just wanted to say that i believe I am extremely lucky to be in 5 Humility. You know why? Well, because it's is some how different being in this class, this is -like what Miss Lam said- a family. I came home on Friday thinking very hard about what Miss Lam talked to us about. We are different from others because we stick together through thick or thin. And I believe with Miss Lam teaching us and guiding us step by step, we WILL become true women of fine character, because Miss Lam is a woman of fine character herself. On the first day of school when she walked into the classroom, there was something different about her. She carried with her grace and fine character. I finally see that that is what she wants us to be. And I really hope that we can all grow up to be like her. Tiny Miss Lams. Ha ha. Kidding... I really hope that we can all grow up to be true women of fine character with a passion for life and learning. And I also want to thank Miss Lam for leading us.... molding us into a family. Thank you so much Miss Lam.....

Dear Miss Lam,

I was having a bit of a problem canging the title "This other eden" to "5 Humility 2009". You see, the title is a image that comes from photobucket and cannot be edited. So, if I remove it, the title will be gone with its background(Title Background). We will need a new banner. If anyone knows how to make a banner, can you make it and post it to photobucket and post the link. Thanks ;D

Dear Sheryl and Kymberly,

I am having quite a headache looking at the layout of the blog - here are some pointers in case you have forgotten.

1) Not too cluttered looking. Only one side bar will do.

2) Bigger fonts

3) The blog design should not have words like "Music Saves my soul" or "Someone stole my heart coz.."

4) Keep the header narrow. The current picture makes the blog almost unreadable.

5) The author should be "5 Humility" or "A 5 Humility Family Member", not "sprinkling love".

5) Remember that this is a class blog, not a personal blog. You can do anything you want with a personal blog but for the class blog, solid coloured backgrounds please . Work with a set design from blogger and change colours if you must.
